Mercedes SL-Class by Brabus

Brabus has introduced a new tuning program for the 2013 Mercedes SL-Class. Starting with the exterior, the model can be outfitted with a body kit that includes new bumpers, revised side skirts, front fender vents and a trunk-mounted spoiler. Customers can also order a sports exhaust system and Monoblock wheels that are available in sizes ranging from 18- to 20-inches. To spruce up the cabin, Brabus offers premium leather upholstery, illuminated sill plates, wood / carbon fiber trim and a new speedometer that tops out at 320 km/h or 360 km/h (200 mph or 225 mph). The SL500 (aka 550) can be equipped with a 520 PowerXtra CGI power kit which enables the twin-turbo 4.7-liter V8 engine to produce 520 PS (382 kW / 512 hp) and 820 Nm (604 lb-ft) of torque. Mercedes-Benz R230 SL-Class by PP Exclusive

PP Exclusive has put together a mild tuning package for Mercedes-Benz SL-Class R230 facelift. Without any performance upgrades, the modifications consist mainly of stylistic enhancements. Starting from the ground up, the SL-Class has been fitted with PP Exclusive's Majestic wheel with the front wheels sized 11x20 inch (with 3.5 inch outer rims) and the back wheels are 13x20 inch (5 inch outer rim) fitted with Dunlop tires of sizes 255/30R20 and 305/25R20. The Majestic wheels are available up to 23-inches in size. The wheel set combined with an electronic module which lowers the suspension by up to 100mm provides a scraping look that's literally down to earth. As a result, the wheel arches had to be extended with additional sheet metal grafted onto the existing arches to widen them 25 mm up front and 55 mm at the back. For the exterior the final touch includes a stainless steel exhaust system with catalytic converter and four oval-shaped tailpipes. Inside, the driver and passenger seats have been finished in white Nappa leather with black stitching. The wood trim of the dashboard have been replaced with matching white pieces while the sun visors and the roof interior have been finished in black Alcantara. The SL steering wheel has been replaced with a smaller unit which has a flat bottom and is finished with Alcantara.

Mercedes-Benz SL 65 AMG by Inden Design

German tuner Inden Design has a new kit for the Mercedes-Benz SL 65 AMG.

For the body, the tuner has a aerodynamic package that includes a new front apron with large air vents, new bonnet, widening front wings, side skirts and enlarged wheel wells. At the back a spoiler, new apron and diffuser are added.

For the engine tuning, Inden Design dials up power on the SL 65 AMG's 6.0 liter twin-turbo V12 engine to 680 PS (500 kW / 671 bhp) from the series' 612 PS (450 kW / 604 bhp). The V-max lock is also lifted.

The Mercedes-Benz SL 65 AMG by Wheelsandmore

German tuner Wheelsandmore has a performance package for the Mercedes-Benz SL 65 AMG that is modest enough to sound like a reasonable option against the SL 65 AMG Black Series.

For the power ugrade, Wheelsandmore does some ECU-remapping and adds a handmade exhaust system to bump the 6.0 liter twin-turbo V12 engine up to 697 PS (513 kW) and 1,150 Nm of torque from the production model's 612 PS (450 kW) and 1,000 Nm. The SL 65 AMG Black Series comes with 670 PS (493 kW) but with an electronically-limited torque of 1,000 Nm (a feature Wheelsandmore removes for its tuning of the standard SL 65 AMG).

Also on hand are, of course, Wheelsandmore's 3-piece forged rims (6Sportz) in 10 x 20-inch and 12 x 20-inch dimensions for the front and rear, respectively, wrapped in 255/30/20 (front) and 305/25/20 (back) Dunlop tires.

A suspension kit is also part of the package - Wheelsandmore´s "LowMaXX" electronic lowering module that maintains serial settings and raises the car at around the 72 km/h (45 mph) mark to provide a more comfortable ride.
