WIMMER Rennsporttechnik has presented their tuning package for the Mercedes C 63 AMG Wagon which has been wrapped up in an electrical yellow exterior livery. The naturally aspirated 6.3-liter engine has benefited from upgraded cylinder heads, intake manifolds as well as a modified throttle. Mercedes-Benz C-Class C63 AMG by Wimmer RST

German tuner Wimmer RST is offering a performance upgrade on the Mercedes-Benz C-Class C63 AMG that provides a considerable output boost on the AMG's 6.3 liter (6208cc) V8 power plant.

Called the Level 3, the performance kit dials up output to 580 PS (427 kW) and 690 Nm (509 lb-ft) of torque on the C63 AMG (series: 457 PS / 336 kW and 600Nm / 443 lb-ft of torque). Wimmer RST does so by means of an air induction optimization, an air filter from K&N and an ECU remapping. The Wimmer RS-Sport stainless-steel exhaust system helps add a few horse too while providing a more robust sound.

The Wimmer RST tuned Mercedes C63 AMG has an electronically-limited top speed of 305 km/h.

The cost of the performance package is €9900.

The C63 pictured here is fitted with Dunlop Sport Maxx GT tires and a KW-Club sport suspension.

Porsche GT2 RS tuned by Wimmer RS

German tuner Wimmer RS has a package for the Porsche 911 GT2 RS that shaves 0.2 seconds off of the supercar's 0 to 100 km/h sprint time.

To do so, Wimmer goes under the hood to optimize the two turbochargers and modify the air intake. There's also a tuning of the throttle valve and a new sport air filter.

The Solingen-based tuner then adds a valve-controlled sport exhaust system and sport catalysts.

All that tinkering adds up to a total output on the Porsche 911 GT2 RS of 703 PS (517 kW) and 810 Nm of torque (series 620 PS / 462 kW).

The 0 to 100 km/h sprint time comes in at 3.3 seconds compared to the series' 3.5. The Wimmer RS GT2 RS hits 200 km/h (124 mph) in 9.5 seconds.

Top speed is a breezy 356 km/h (221 mph).

A nice set of photos here tell the rest of the story of the Wimmer RS Porsche 911 GT2 RS dressed in a devilish red with a black bonnet.
