German tuner a-workx has an upgrade kit for the E92 BMW M3 that gives it an edge over the GTS model. And the BMW M3 460cs (Club Sport) is a real track racer with road-legal specifications.
The tuner starts things off with a power upgrade to 460 PS (338 kW / 454 hp) and 460 Nm (339 lb-ft) of torque from the series 420 PS (309 kW / 414 hp) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft). A lightweight Akrapovic Evolution titanium exhaust system is part of the kit too as is a limited-slip differential from Drexler.
A 600 PS (441 kW / 592 hp) supercharger option is also available separately.
A KW suspension kit is fitted as are 19-inch ATS Super Light rims with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tires and a MOV ‘IT CER ceramic brake system which alone costs €19,235 and adds considerable cost to the package. A much cheaper steel brake alternative is also available.
Due to the power upgrade and the use of lightweight materials, the M3 460cs does the 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint in just 4.1 seconds compared to the 4.8 seconds of the standard M3. 200 km/h is reached in 13.2 seconds, down 2.5 seconds from series.
It's an expensive package, though, ringing in at €52,229 with the ceramic brakes and €34,034 with the steel ones.
