BMW F10 M5 survives crash at 300km/h

We know that BMW's are very safe, especially when compared to our local Proton Cars, but just how safe are BMW's actually are? Well, apparently, a 60 year old BMW driver was travelling on the Autobahn highway at the BMW F10 M5's top speed; all 300km/h of it. Just like the Proton Preve accident, some external forces swerved in and caused this gorgeous BMW F10 M5 to lose control and crash. As you can see, at 300km/h the car is a total loss. Well Proton is much better...
...it can achieve the same look and effect at just 120km/h, no doubt about that! One of the headlights was still working, and amazingly, all the passengers survived (albeit with injury)

The car was a total loss, but this is expected from a collision at 300km/h. The car flipped several times before landing on its wheels again. 

Following his dad's M5 was his 2 sons, one in and M3 and M6. Talking about the M6, it is an awesome car! Personally driven both the M3,M5 and M6, and I prefer the M6 anyday! The car is just fantastic, and no words could describe it.

Proton Preve Failure Again? Look inside!

Previously we covered the Proton Preve dashboard button quality failure, this time there appears to be some problem with the Proton Preve's tyres! Hit the jump for 1 more picture and a funny internet trending meme on this mishap!

However, this is not what it seems! The real story was, the salesman was cruising at 120km/h (Above speed limit!), and had to swerve to avoid another vehicle. Apparently it hit a divider instead, which resulted in a broken tie rod.

KUALA LUMPUR: The trending image on a local forum and social sites depicting a Proton Prevé's failed suspension and tyre damage are being heavily discussed among netizens this evening.

An official statement from Proton was given by Datuk Ahmad Jingga, chief director of Proton's marketing unit, regarding this issue. The image was depicted as one way for rivaling companies to bring down Proton's name.

"There is a story behind that image. Proton's suspension and our latest technology is working just fine. During the test drive, this particular unit has hit a foreign object that instantenously damage the tire and suspension unit due to the heavy duty element of that object."

A further forensic research regarding the photo were done immediately to clear up rumours about Proton's supposedly 'failed' suspension. The official reports have depicted that foreign object as 'too strong for any mass object moving in high speed to withhold, even a BMW could not survive the ordeal'.  Datuk Ahmad Jingga has been quoted to say that the object itself is the main cause of the turmoil, and not the failure of Proton's technology.
