The Pagani Zonda, made mainly from carbon fibre weighs in at only 1250kg. The Zonda R is a rebuilt over the standard Zonda F, lightened to just 1070kg. It is made for the track, similar to the Ferrari FXXX. The car is powered by a Mercedes Benz 6.0L V12 M120 engine. The Zonda C12 makes 394 PS (290 kW; 389 hp) at 5200 rpm and 570 N·m (420 lb·ft) at 3800 rpm mated to a 5-speed manual transmission gearbox, while the Zonda R makes 750 PS (552 kW; 740 hp) at 8500 rpm and 710 N·m (524 lb·ft) of torque. This AMG-built engine is mated to a 6-speed longitudinally-mounted manual sequential synchronized gearbox.
