Proton Gen 2, Satria Neo CPS interior: Whats with the clock?

A while ago, I sat in a Porsche Cayman and I saw the clock in the middle of the dashboard.

This reminded me of a similar clock, in the Proton Gen 2. Similar, but smaller definitely. On closer inspection, apart from the clock, Proton seemed to attain the inspiration for the air conditioning vents from Porsche as well, or at least it is quite a coincidence. The speedometer clusters are similar too, but instead of 3 there are 2 clusters.
