Fiat Coupe 20VT with Custom SD Aerodynamic Bodykit!

The Fiat Coupé (type 175, officially titled the Coupé Fiat) was a coupé produced by the Italian manufacturer Fiat between 1993 and 2000. In Malaysia, the name Fiat has receieved quite a notorious reputation for being a high maintenance Italian make. In fact, most Non-Asian makes such as BMW, Mercedes, Volvo etc has also recieved the same reputation of being high maintenance. Despite this, the Fiat Coupe has a cult following in Malaysia! Understandly, the owners sure do have good taste, as this vehicle is indeed very handsome and sporty in apperance.

To truly appreciate the vehicle one would have to take a peek inside its interior; it is designed by Pininfarina, which is coincidentally the designer of many other makes including Ferrari, Maserati, Rolls-Royce, Cadillac, Jaguar, Volvo, Alfa Romeo, Honda and Lancia.

Performance wise, the Fiat Coupe features a 5-cylinder 2.0-litre 20V turbo that produces 220bhp, 160kW @ 5750 RPM, 310Nm (210lb-ft) torque at 2500 RPM. Weighing at 1250-1320KG, it accelerates 0-100km/h in 6.5 seconds, with a top speed of 250km/h.

This special Fiat Coupe in Malaysia is very much loved by its owner, with an extensive list of modifications done to it. The main feature of this Fiat could be its unique matte blue paint job and very tasteful custom bodykit.

Audi TTRS: Performance Specifications

The Audi TTRS (TT RS) is an updated Audi TTS, offering a 2.5-litre inline five-cylinder turbocharged Fuel Stratified Injection (TFSI) engine that churns out 335bhp (250 kW) from 5,400-6,700 RPM, and torque rated at 450 Nm at 1,600-5,300 RPM. The impressive torque figures allows the car to accelerate 0-100km/h (0-60mph) in 4.5 seconds, with a top speed of 250km/h (factory limited).

Weighing at 1450kg, and featuring a four wheel drive system, with either a 6 speed close-ratio manual transmission or a 7 speed DSG automatic transmission, the Audi TTRS offers exclusive performance that can rival that of its bigger brother, the Audi R8. The only downside is that exterior-wise, it looks pretty much like its lower end siblings, the Audi TT and TTS. The only distinctive factor is the performance offered by the Audi TTRS.

2012 Satria Neo R3 Supercharged!

Supercharged Satria Neo R3, producing 175bhp & 200Nm of Torque. Somehow I think a turbo charger would be more fun, but to each his own!

2012 BMW 3 series Li (3Li) - Elongated version revealed

The BMW 3 series 3Li will debut at the Beijing Auto show sometime this month. The 3Li is basically an elongated version of the standard 3 series, offering more leg room for the rear passengers. This car is suitable for the emerging south east Asian and Asian market, as many opt for a regular sedan but want a luxury touch to it. In comparison, the 5 series and 7 series also offers an elongated version, but the size of the vehicle and price deters many buyers. The 3Li is stretched by 110mm in the middle, and is available as 320Li, 328Li and 335Li variants. The roadtax will be more feasible and affordable as the capacity is smaller.

The longer wheelbase adds a touch of luxury and comfort. The stance itself commands a premium.
Elegantly poised with twin exhaust for the highest range (among 3Li series ) inline 6 engine.

Plenty of legroom for all 3 occupants. The interior has a soothing touch to it.

Proton Peve - Official Preview of Spec Sheet & Pricing

The manual Proton Preve is a good buy if you are looking for modifications, as apparently the CVT transmission only has a threshold of 205nm torque @ 2500rpm! What that means is, the CFE turbo charged engine in the Preve is already putting out 205nm torque. Potentially, the engine could produce more power, but doe to reliability issue and durability, they limit its power output. Not very sure if the CFE has potential to mod further, as it is limited by the gearbox already. Perhaps Proton should introduce a manual variant with CFE turbo.

New Suzuki Kizashi in Malaysia!

The Suzuki Kizashi, looking very much alike the Toyota Mark X from the rear has finally been launched in Malaysia! Competing against the VW Passat, Peugeot 508, Kia K5 and Ford Mondeo, this car has a tough competition ahead. Despite being smaller than its competitors, the Suzuki Kizashi offers a very proportionate body; the front fender and tyre distance reminds me of an european car like BMW. This pose is quite sporty.
Looks quite good! (IMHO)
Priced at 147,888 for the SDLX trim, it comes with 6 airbags, traction control, ESP, leather seats, 10 way electric memory seats, auto cruise, keyless entry and push start, ABS, EBD, BA and Hill Assist, auto folding side mirrors, auto leveling HID lights, auto dimming rear view mirror, and 17 inch alloy rims.Quite well featured don't you think?

The sport variant is priced at RM158,188 and comes with 18 inch rims, sport suspension, different front bumper, and chrome exterior trim. The interior is also complemented by a sporty leather gear knob and silver stitch highlights.

Rear reminds me of a Toyota Mark X

Conclusion? Overall the car looks quite promising, performs quite well and should be anyone's list that is looking for a sporty sedan. 0-100 in 8.8 seconds isn't too shabby at all!

Engine: 2.4L 4 Cylinder, 176bhp (131kW) / 230Nm Torque @ 4,000rpm.
Transmission: CVT Gearbox
Acceleration: 0-100km/h in 8.8 seconds
Top Speed: 205km/h

Lotus Esprit: forgotten car (1976 and 2004)

Usually when we talk about Lotus cars what comes to our mind is usually the Lotus Elise. Maybe after being featured quite frequently in Need for Speed game series, the Lotus Elise has become synonymous with the brand itself. However, not many people know of the existence of the Lotus Esprit. Made between 1976 to 2004, the Esprit spanned several generations:

Lotus Esprit S1 (1976)
Engine: Lotus 907 2.0L 4 cylinder - 140-160bhp
140 lb·ft (190 N·m)
Transmission: 5 speed manual
claimed 0-100km/h - 6.8 seconds
Top Speed: 222km/h
Weight: 1000kg

Lotus Esprit S2 (1978)
New air duct near rear window
Integrated front spoiler

Lotus Esprit S3 &Turbo variant (1981)
engine: Lotus 912 2.2L 4 cylinder - same 140-160bhp
160 lb·ft (217 N·m)

Turbo engine: Lotus 910, 2.0L 215bhp-250bhp
220 lb·ft (300 N·m)
0-100km/h in 5.4-6.1 seconds
Top speed 263km/h

The S3 is followed by several redesigned versions.

Doesn't the Lotus Esprit look very much like the DMC Delorean? Yes because:

"The DeLorean (also known as the DMC-12) was designed by DeLorean. John
DeLorean contracted with a specialist U.S. subcontractor to design andbuild a prototype based on some ideas that he had. He then contractedLotus to develop and certify the production car and set up themanufacturing system. The final chassis design looks very much likethe Esprit chassis. The cars were actually built at the DeLoreanfactory in Dunmurry, south of Belfast, Northern Ireland."
