VW Malaysia has brought in the Scirocco R into the Malaysian Market. Volkswagen Group Malaysia (VGM) has now announced the Scirocco R in the Malaysian market. The "R" symbolises an enhanced version, similar to what Honda does with its cars (Type R). Priced at RM279,888 OTR, the Scirocco R packs 255bhp and 330Nm Torque. All these power is delivered through a 6 speed DSG gearbox. Acceleration is improved from the standard Scirocco 2.0 TFSI, accelerating 0-100km/h in 6 seconds, with a top speed of 250km/h. The best part is the fuel economy, stated to give 12.5km/L or 100km per 8 litres!
